Hi, I am Julia kolacka, this week I am running the translator role. I am in charge of the description of 5 items we did and taught this week. This week was kinda overwhelmed but we got through it. This week we were working on TPACK, ACAD, DIAGRAMS, MIND MAPS, AND GENERAL PRESENTATION.
TPACK:
What it is? This is the model of learning, teaching, thinking, knowing… This is everything that a good teacher should know about the structure of his lesson. We live in 2021 year, it is important to be equipped with the necessary knowledge about tools we can use. Technology is so crucial. TPACK consists of technological knowledge, pedagogical knowledge, and content knowledge, it means TPK, TCK, PCK.
CK- ,, is the what,, These are facts, concepts, and theories. As a teacher, we must think about how can we put it together, to the letter, during our lesson.
PK- ,, is the how,, These are instructional strategies, teaching methods, and assessments.
A good professor knows how to combine strategies with for example concept, or assessments with theories. Every student is different, a teacher has to remember that. The knowledge from this segment helps the teacher designs successful learning for not everybody but the one special unit.
PCK- this is the knowledge of how to effectively engage students, it means different learning skills. How I said, students are not the same, one doesn’t like work in a group and the other likes. This is a challange for the teacher to use his knowledge in this way to solve this problem aptly
TK- this segment has to represent the knowledge about technological tools and integrate technology into methods of learning.
TCK- shows how technology is used in a subject area.
TPK- This works in the area of understanding. The Teacher knows how to choose the perfect way to manage technology for the students.
So finally we can summarize TPACK- this is the best process to understand how pedagogy, content and technology can work and which is the best for students to improve their skills. It is a new generation of innovation learning.
ACAD: activity-centered analysis and design.
It consists of analysis, design, and complex learning- environments. This is more like multitasking or proposing a task. In this segment we can get to know about thinking, feeling, perceiving, talking, making, and moving. We create student’s mindsets and we are responsible for it. It is our decision how we want to students work. In that case, we are the architect of our students’ work. So the teacher has to improve visual thinking tools, devices for research, and writable surface. It is a mix of people, tools, and tasks. None of this can exist separately.
DIAGRAMS: This definition looms large in our minds. A diagram is a symbolic representation of information using visualization techniques. Here are also some examples of diagrams. Simple Bar Chart, Multiple Bar Chart, or Cluster Chart. Stacked Bar Chart or Sub-Divided Bar Chart or Component Bar Chart. Simple Component Bar Chart. Percentage Component Bar Chart.
INFORMATION MAP: It is the system we can use during our presentation. Is the map with all the necessary information. It is short and consistent. It is like a password. We have all passwords on our map and we can make a short description and present their structure.
Here are some examples: General Reference, Topographical, Thematic, Navigation Charts and Cadastral Maps and Plans
PRESENTATION: I think this was the hardest point. A good presentation is so hard. Sometimes fear and stress are stronger than we predicted. A good presentation has to be interesting, concrete, smart, and creative. As a teacher, we should know how we can put together our words (and sometimes definitions are so difficult) and the same time interest our listeners. It is not easy, because when we are stressed and when we focus on important things we want to say, we don’t control our posture, gestures, and tone of voice.
