Week 2- ANALYST

Hi again! I'm Amparo and my role this week is to be the analyst.

My task this week is to carry out the final reflection of the assignment and the evaluation of the weekly performance, effort and work of the group members.


With this second task, we have learnt the TPACK and ACAD approaches, which are essential tools in a teachers' career as they are useful for self-evaluating ourselves and discover our weaknesses.

We have learnt lots of things, and enjoyed quite others, however; although it is the second task, we were stressed and nervous about the task. It seemed quite well, but in the end, our full job was incorrect, as we did not understand well how to do the task and the information map was not as it was supposed to be. We organized some videocalls and did a presentation, instead of a conceptual map; so it was not ok. After the presentation of our work to the class, we did another videocall and changed everything in order to do what we were supposed to from the beginning.

Despite the errors, although everyone have not participated in the same way and everyone was not equally involved; we really enjoyed doing the prezi, and afterwards, the mind map.


The worst moment of this week was while tuesday's class, as we did not do a good presentation of the project, due to we had it wrong, and actually, here, we got in panic. Nevertheless, after talking again and reorganising the job, we set to work to fix and save the task.

The best moment of this week was when we finally finished the concept map, with all the information we found, with which we had some problems to find, and all very well prepared, the best we could.


For the task of the next week, we need to organise the work better, so that everyone works the same because it is really unfair. We also need to learn to work with time and to work on the task at the beginning of it, in order that we do not complete the task so near the deadline again. In my view, it is being under a great amount of pressure unnecessarily.


Having said all these things, I reckon that this task would be useful for us in a future, because TPACK and ACAD are two different approaches that we might use in our teaching degrees.
