Hello, I'm Paula Manzanares and this week I'm in charge of introducing you to the main five terms related to the conceptual images we have been working in this activity.
Padlet: Here is the application that has showed us how to use images in the context of school. As we were applying our conceptual ideas and phrases regarding teaching , learning and education in the chosen pictures, we did notice that it was an online tool which worked as a common page in which each one could see what the other was writing and, in order to implement the three aforementioned processes involving different pictures, we not only discovered that the notes posted could also include document files, links or even videos, but we also decided that once our padlet was created , we could shared it through a usual social media channel (instagram in this case) and embed it in this blog or website so that everyone can comment our online notice board.
Creative commons: When selecting the images for our work we had to struggle with the fact that some of them presented copyright. Fortunately, we found a great alternative specially useful to publish our creative projects under a license that allows more flexibility than the "all rights reserved" that comes by default in copyright laws. It is called creative commons and all of its licenses have important features in common. Each license helps creators -(called licensors if they use the tools provided) - maintain their copyrights while allowing others to copy, distribute, and make some uses of their work.
Teaching scope: The reality of teaching does fall in the contents treated at this task , that is , promoting branches of knowledge from diverse processes, ideas, resources, events or practices within resources and ICT methods . Is a reciprocal and active way of communication between groups and individuals that contribute to a process responsive to, for example, associations of ideas , such as phrases extracted from a determinate object of knowledge and its different applications, which can be already available or created by us following instructions.
Learning scope: It is important to strive for a learning process making interactions and regulations between experiences and knowledge, that would facilitate but also enforce learning activities according to student's learning needs and case studies as a part of our moral responsability.
Education score: We have concluded that thinking independently and creating procedures based on mind connections are intended to embrace the two previous scopes and that is necessary to simplify the complicated issues in various types of exercises to ensure we have learned how to acquire the knowledges required and to facilitate its teaching.
