Week 4 - ANALYST

Hello, I am Álvaro Leal and this week I am the analyst.


I this task we decided to work with the activity “Fractions Families”.

On the other hand, the worst and the best moment of the week happened almost at the same time. The worst moment was when we did our exposition, we were all nervous, I suppose that it happen because we never make an exposition in which we had to be so tight on time, as we could neither be too short nor too long.


On the other hand, the best part was when the teacher congratulated us for our work, this is due to our effort and the excellent work of our stars, because if they had not been participating during the whole week and preparing well for the exhibition we would not have got those congratulations.



In my opinion, the best part of our task was the discovery of the tool "the fraction wall" https://www.visnos.com/demos/fraction-wall l as through this discovery our activity made sense, and it is a great way for the children to interact and participate.




However, the worst part was the beginning of the activity as I think that we came up with a lot of new things that we had never worked with before. This made us a bit lost at the beginning and we lost a lot of time in choosing the activity we wanted to do.






For the following weeks we have to maintain the beauty of our presentation, especially including personal photos in our presentations, as the teacher has appreciated it.


Nevertheless we have to be better organised because we cannot continue to do the work of just a few people, we should all have the same interest and commitment because some are only doing what others tell them to do. While others are fully immersed, concerned and have an interest in things going well. I believe that this happens to us because some people have no team attitude or lack team spirit, because their laziness not only harms themselves but also the group.



Finally, with this task, although we have only worked more deeply with Fractions Families, we have seen other digital activities that I think we could use in the future in the classroom and that cover different topics. In this way we will ensure that what they learn is not quickly forgotten thanks to the children's participation during the activity. Because in my experience, if you are able to relate what you learn to one moment, it stays in your memory for a longer period of time.
