Hi! My name is Ángela González Otón and this week I have been the translator. I have been in charge of defining the five core terms related to the subject which have been worked in the activity. I have choose this ones: Pecha Kucha, Fraction Families, Bloom´s Taxonomy, Mathematics and Ethical problems.
-Pecha Kucha: It is a presentation format in which 20 slides are included that move on to the next slide every 20 seconds.
-Fraction Families: It is the presentation we would use in order to introduce the concept of fractions to the children. Fractions would be grouped and named as "families" depending on the number that is in the denominator.
-Bloom's Taxonomy: This is a framework that includes the educational objectives placed in hierarchical order. They are accumulative, in order to reach the last one you have to achieve the others first.
-Mathematics: This is a subject of Primary School and it is the subject to which we have directed this activity.
-Ethical problems: Issues that may occur in the schools and that need to be contemplated to treat them or put a solution.
I think the weakness of the task has been to present it in only 20 seconds for each slide, the fact that the time for presenting it was so restricted and inflexible. The tool that we used for doing this task is named "Pecha Kucha". The environment for its application must be the current one, the digitalized one, although it is good to consider some alternatives for ensuring the possibility to work on it without internet access just in case.
