Hello everyone out there in a new jamap's challenge! This week the facilitator role is going to be performed by me, Paula Manzanares, which implies taking responsabilities ranging from checking the fulfillment of obligations, through providing what necessary for the design of the task chosen, and to the organization of the job. In Thursday's online class, our teacher taught us a sort of storytelling format called "PechaKucha", where our two stars are in charge of showing 20 slides for 20 seconds of explications for each one . On Thursday, the roles and the two stars were finally assigned as part of the task distribution and we decided to start working on Saturday morning on a zoom meeting. Firstly, We made a research about tasks with digitals for primary school children according to a european project called TACCLE 2. Consequently, we decided that the task based on fraction families would withdraw children attention to the subject of maths because it proposes an application with an interactive type of technology, which at the same time revealed us an accurately way of answering the questions, as depending on how you decide to modify a template it can be useful for the explanation of one respective and specific concept and, consequently, for having a further vision when deciding which screenshot of the interactive image would adjust better to what the question asks and intends to know, for example, regarding the bloom's taxonomy, or the added value of this digital tool, etc...In addition, templates can also be adapted to the child's level of acquisition of knowledges, that's why we decided that a manual representation that shows a clear development of the concepts occurring, should also be added in different diapositives of the PechaKucha, as well as some pictures of ourselves exploring the process of elements related to fraction families.
To conclude, I have to say that we were very keen on this task because, despite of working together, everyone has contributed to the accomplishment of a complete task for primary children by thinking individually how to put things together and meaningful. On top of that, my colleagues have make an effort so that the presentation is understandable for everyone and, above all, apart from being creative and beautiful, it's exposed in a differentiate manner
